Do you think baby hedgehogs & owls are cute? We do! The ICS Craft Committee is excited to introduce woodland animal themed crafts for the children. Materials will be provided for making some cute critters to take home that day. You & your child could turn them into ornaments for your tree or window or give as a handmade gift to a family member. We can’t wait to craft with your kids!
The ICS Community Service Committee will be organizing another opportunity for kids to craft for a cause. Last year kids created cards for sick children at Mt. Sinai hospital and were adorably creative and heartfelt in their messages and drawings.
Locally renowned Daniela Kostova will be our facepainter!
"I am a professional artist who got in the facepainting business with the help of a Chinese facepainting star who showed me some amazing tricks :) Bringing color to your faces is a really fun thing to do and I enjoy it tremendously! I like to create unique designs (every face is different!)"
Our friends at Arco salon will be on hand with a hair braiding bar!
Kids can get their festive hairstyles and start looking great for the holidays.

For over 20 years, the non-profit Recycle-A-Bicycle (RAB) has been an environmental education initiative that facilitates job training, environmental stewardship, and everyday bicycle use by NYC youth.
Now a part of Bike New York - organizer of NYC’s TD Bank Five Boro Bike Tour- RAB’s programs include workshops and kids riding programs. In the past year alone, more than 1,000 RAB youth collectively refurbished 500 bicycles, pedaled 24,000 miles, and burned 1,500,000 calories. On average, RAB salvages 1,200 bicycles each year from the waste stream, diverting a total of 36,000 pounds of waste from NYC's landfills.
Bike New York’s Recycle-A-Bicycle Shop at 35 Pearl Street offers, sales and full-service repairs on bicycles, as well as bicycle accessories.
Donated bikes and parts are re-conditioned and then sold at fair and affordable prices.
